Designer's notes
When designing Ilia, we kept coming back to one question:
What makes a chair feel like your chair?
The answer wasn't extra cushions or oversized proportions. It was creating a seat that feels personal the moment you sit in it.
The high winged backrest gently curves around you, creating a sense of comfort and enclosure without feeling heavy. Paired with the rounded arms and generous seat, it feels supportive in all the right places while still looking light and elegant.
The exposed timber frame adds warmth and contrast, giving the chair a crafted quality that feels honest and timeless. It's this balance between softness and structure that gives Ilia its character.
Each piece is made to order, crafted specifically for you.

OEKOTEX certified and REACH compliant - completely safe for babies, kids, pets, and anyone with allergies or sensitive skin.
Made using recycled plastic bottles and organic cotton, certified under GRS and OCS. A sustainable choice without compromising on quality or feel.
The stain protection is woven into the yarn - not sprayed on. This keeps the fabric soft and luxurious, and spills wipe off with just water + mild soap.
Most of our Performance fabrics start from 40,000+ rubs, which is the benchmark for commercial environments like hotels and airports. In a home, that means your sofa stays looking new for years.
Covers can be machine washed - 60°C kills 99% of germs; some pro fabrics can be washed at 74°C (hospital standard). Ideal for hygiene and freshness.
Soft, comfortable textures - even with all the performance features.
Non-toxic, easy to clean, and durable enough for homes with furry friends.
Added fire safety for extra peace of mind at home.
We stand by our quality. If the fabric ever pills, we’ll replace it. That’s how confident we are in our Performance fabrics.
