When designing the James Armchair, we wanted to create something that felt bold without feeling heavy.
The shape is simple and structured from the outside, but once you sit down, the soft channels and generous cushioning create a much more relaxed experience. We liked the idea of balancing clean architectural lines with comfort, allowing the chair to feel both sculptural and inviting.
The channel detailing adds texture and depth to the design, helping light and shadow move across the surface throughout the day. It also softens the overall form, making the chair feel warmer and more approachable.

Production Time
Once your order is confirmed, your item will go into production. Lead times typically range from 2-3 weeks, depending on the piece and level of customisation.
