Rowan was shaped around a simple idea: making a lounge chair feel relaxed without becoming bulky.
The slim metal frame keeps the design visually light, while the generously padded seat and backrest do the opposite, creating a comfortable place to settle into for longer periods of time. Rather than competing for attention, the frame quietly outlines the chair, allowing the upholstery to take centre stage.
The slightly reclined backrest was chosen to encourage a more laid-back sitting position, making Rowan equally suited to a reading corner, bedroom, home office, or living space.
